Diaper Zoo instructions teach you how to make the kind of baby shower gifts that bring a big smile to mom, dad and baby every time. Here are the questions I get most often.
Q.Are the diaper characters hard to make?
No. Every e-book has been designed with the beginner in mind. Each one is anywhere from 13 to 64 pages of clear step-by-step instructions, and every step is accompanied by a color photograph to show you exactly what to do. I even include the list of ingredients you’ll need before you start. You can pretty much make them from the pictures alone. Just ask some of my international customers who don’t speak English!
Q.How do I get my e-book after I buy it?
Your download starts the moment checkout finishes, and we email you a link so you can find it again on shower day. If you ever lose it, use the contact page and I’ll happily resend it. Please add sales@diaperzoo.com to your contacts so the email doesn’t land in spam.
Q.Are the ingredients complicated or hard to find?
No. Every e-book is designed so you can make your masterpiece from simple everyday baby items. A lot of people have them lying around the house: disposable diapers, infant socks, beanies, pacifiers, washcloths, baby bottles, scratch mittens, hair clips, blankets and rattles.
You’ll also need a few crafting items from your local craft store. If you have trouble tracking something down, send me a quick email and I’ll help with your ingredient treasure hunt.
Q.Are the diapers, socks and washcloths usable afterwards?
Some of them are, to a certain extent. In most cases the socks and washcloths can be used for the new baby. The diapers are usually rendered unusable so the character keeps its shape as a long-lasting keepsake. Most receivers don’t want to take them apart anyway. It would be like tearing apart a cute little stuffed animal!
Q.Can children play with the finished critters?
No. Finished Diaper Zoo items are not toys. Most contain small parts that can be a choking hazard. They are intended for display only, but guaranteed to get many “oohs” and “awwws” from anyone who sees them.
Q.Can I sell the critters I make?
Yes! You are welcome to sell the finished items you make from a purchased e-book, and to photograph your own creations to help sell them. The e-books themselves, including all text, steps and photographs, are protected by US copyright and are not for resale or sharing. Brenda M. Pike is the original author and creator. Copying, altering or reproducing the instructions in any form is prohibited.
Q.Do you run specials?
Yes. Keep an eye on the Specials page. I rotate a handful of e-books in and out of being on special, so check back if you’re looking to save a few bucks.
Q.Do you give a bulk discount?
Yes! For those “diaperholics” who can’t get enough, I have a multi-item discount scale. The more you purchase at one time, the bigger the discount. Send me a message from the contact page and I’ll send you the details.
Q.What about refunds?
E-books are non-tangible instructional items. Once you purchase one, it’s yours for life, but refunds are not possible. If you ever need it sent again, just ask.
